Linux 32 and Windows PHP Servers: Beware there is a exploit in the area

Zend released this today:

Zend – January 05, 2011 A critical vulnerability in the PHP engine has been identified on January 3, 2011. This exploit is significant because most PHP applications on impacted systems can become remotely exploitable to a very simple denial of service attack. Zend has released a security hotfix to address this vulnerability…

It is actually the 1st PHP exploit that I have seen in years. The 1st big one actually. It will affect both Windows and Linux 32 environments and if you are not concerned right now, well, read the bug description on the full article and you will see how easy it is to reproduce, so update the systems or download the hotfix asap.
